Carol’s Philosophy:

The majority of local area fitness trainers have been trained in the standard American/Western style, characterized by training either the upper body one day and the lower body the next, and avoid working a particular muscle more than once a week. They believe that if you do not experience some degree of pain or soreness, you haven’t work hard enough. Some trainers do not emphasize adequate stretching, warm-up and cool-down exercises. Some have rigid beliefs about the correct number of repetitions, and how to hold the weights, etc.. Carol has developed a technique for warm-up and between-set stretches which prevent pain after each workout session. Eastern Practices are incorporated into the training regime which allows the individual to focus on the particular muscle being worked. This method makes it safe and pain-free to work the entire body every day if desired. In addition, careful research and study of alternative ways to perform weight training, makes it possible to get more overall benefit to each muscle or group from each exercise.
